Credit Hints
As for the credit card just keep this in mind:
Between the 25th and the 1st of every month credit cards report to the Equifax. What people do not know is that if you are 50% maxed on a card in the end of the month you loose points. It is always best to pay the card down to 50% usage before the 25th of each month regardless of the payment needed or the due date.
And keep from inquiring on your credit. You can obtain for a fee and no cost to your points at www.equifax.com but unless you need the Brick ECT try to avoid filling out apps. I would suggest that after 6 months in going to your servicing branch and ask for a small credit card $2,000 to 5k.
So that should be all you need to keep the credit in line.
